How I got here

I didn’t take a traditional path to get here. School never really worked for me—I was restless, full of energy, and couldn’t sit still long enough to learn things I didn’t connect with. That frustration pushed me to find another way.

I’ve always been drawn to working with my hands. One day, I picked up a utility knife and started carving a piece of wood. It was rough, unplanned—but something about it felt right. The feeling of the blade slicing through the grain stuck with me. It was the first time I felt fully focused, grounded, and at peace.

From there, I just kept going. No formal training, no classes—just me, some tools, and a growing curiosity. I experimented, made mistakes, and slowly developed my own techniques. What started as a way to escape became something much deeper.

When I began sharing my carving online, I never expected the response. Millions of people started watching, and I realized this quiet craft was offering others the same peace it had given me.

That’s what brought me here. Carving gave me a path—and now, I want to share that path with you.
